  1. Here’s my book, The Cosmic Eye, for the Light Grey Art Lab show coming up in July. The show is called Station Zero, which gathers a bunch of amazing artists to recreate some old sci fi covers!

My book was pretty interesting involving a 1984 like society where everyone is always watching and monitoring your every move. (Pretty fitting considering the news lately) Most of the story was rather predictable, but I was completely surprised by the ending!

Initially, from the original cover, I assumed the story might involve space and some future city on a distant planet. It turns out it takes place in DC and had literally nothing to do with the celestial definition of the word cosmic. Also, there was no giant eye (to my dismay). These twists made it very challenging to come up with a new cover that better conveyed the events of the story.

You can see some of my progress in this image, hopefully I’ll post some more soon! Here’s my book, The Cosmic Eye, for the Light Grey Art Lab show coming up in July. The show is called Station Zero, which gathers a bunch of amazing artists to recreate some old sci fi covers!
